Tinka Forge is an educational tool. It does not replace certified firearms instruction, range safety officers, or professional coaching. Always follow the four universal firearm safety rules, range regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Tinka Forge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any shooting facility, range operator, CMP, NRA, USAS, or government agency listed in the app. Facility information is provided for educational planning only — always verify hours, access rules, and local laws before visiting.
Privacy policy
Your training data stays on your device.
Information We Collect
Tinka Forge does not require an account, sign-in, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location inside the app. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising networks, or usage trackers.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Display name and training preferences you choose during onboarding
- Session logs, notes, rounds fired, and training timers
- Technique quiz results, drill progress, and milestone status
- Library bookmarks, facility notes, and viewed content history
- Pre-range checklist completion and weekly training goals
How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to profile, share, or sell. Every feature — Range, Technique, Drills, Progress, and Library — operates using data stored on your device.
Data Storage & Retention
All content and progress remain in the app's private storage on your device. There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us. Deleting the app permanently removes associated local data from your device.
Network & Third-Party Services
Tinka Forge does not connect to a backend server for training data. The U.S. Range Finder uses Apple MapKit to display preloaded facility coordinates on a map; the app does not request your location. When you open a facility's official website from the detail screen, your device opens that external site — we do not receive that browsing activity.
The app includes no third-party analytics SDKs, ad networks, or social login providers.
Device Permissions
Tinka Forge does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location. Map display uses bundled coordinate data only.
Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because no personal data is transmitted to us, the app aligns with COPPA and similar child-privacy standards. The app is intended for adults engaged in lawful sport shooting education.
Your Control
You can edit your profile, clear session history, or reset all app data at any time through Progress settings. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored content from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local storage, no accounts, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
